Jaime Martinez
Jaime Martinez Garces is The Director and Founder of The Forest is Life. He discovered his mission with The World of Wood at 11 years old. He always worked in the field and as one of his duties, he planted trees on his property, his family's and that of his friends. In the last 25 years, supported by private companies and people involved in farm work (sugar cane), and Government Entities, he initiated the establishment of Associations for the preservation of forests in watersheds in Valle del Cauca, Colombia, South America. He now lives in Canada and is a Community Service Worker and continues his dedication to forest conservation.
